Dear SJP Families,
South Jasper Place Minor Baseball Association is pleased to announce that SJP has entered into a partnership with South West Edmonton Minor Baseball Association (SWEMBA) and Southeast Edmonton Elite Baseball Association (SEEBA) regarding the operation of 'AAA' Baseball teams in west Edmonton.
Beginning in 2019, Peewee and Bantam players that live within the SJP or SWEMBA boundaries will play on 'AAA' teams operated by SEEBA. In 2020, Midget 'AAA' will also be operated by SEEBA.
All 'AAA' teams will play within Baseball Alberta-sanctioned leagues. Boundaries for SEEBA 'AAA' teams is defined as the current SJP and SWEMBA areas combined. Baseball Alberta Transfer guidelines and regulations will still apply to any players wishing to transfer in or out for 'AAA' or 'AA' play.
'AA', 'A' (House League), and Rookie programs will still be run by SJP and SWEMBA, respectively.
In addition to maintaining a strong 'AAA' program for our players, this agreement also ensures we are able to maintain a strong 'AA' program--meaning we are able to provide all players with an appropriate level of play each season.
We will be releasing more details in the next couple of weeks, including coaching announcements, tryout dates and registration procedures.
