2023/2024 Winter Camp
Winter Camp Information.
We are very excited to be able to offer a 18 week long Winter development camp to all of our U11 and up aged players. The primary focus of these sessions is to enhance the abilities of our athletes interested in playing rep baseball during the 2023 season. All sessions will take place on Sunday mornings, Tuesdays and Wednesdays evenings at the St. Francis Xavier Sports Centre Gym (9240-163 street).
Drills will be geared towards:
- increasing throwing/pitching speeds.
- increasing bat exit velocities.
- development of different pitch types.
- improvement of fielding footwork and throwing techniques.
- increasing base running speeds.
Session dates are:
Sunday's
October 15, 22, 29.
November 5, 12, 19, 26.
December 3, 10, 17.
January 7, 14, 21, 28.
February 4, 11, 18, and 25.
March 3.
Session times are:
9:00am - 10:00am - U11 (2013, 2014 birth years).
10:00am - 11:00am - U13 (2011, 2012 birth years).
11:00am - 12:00pm - U15 (2009, 2010 birth years).
12:00pm - 1:00pm - U18 (2006, 2008 birth years).
Tuesday's (15U/18U)
October 17, and 24, 31.
November 7, 14, 21, and 28.
December 5, 12, and 19.
January 9, 16, 23, and 30.
February 6, 13, 20, and 27.
March 5.
The session will run from 6:00-7:00 pm in Gym 2 at St.fx.
Wednesdays (U11-U13) (Gym 3)
October 18, 25.
November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.
December 6, 13, 20.
January 10, 17, 24, 31
February 7, 14, 21, 28
March 6.
The session will run from 5:30-7:00 pm in Gym 3 at St.fx.
Cost is $450.00.
Spaces will be limited to 15 athletes per group, to ensure decent coach to player ratios for maximum one on one time, so please register early. These sessions will surely improve your child's abilities heading into our player evaluations in March 2024.
